EXHIBITOR INFORMATION


The Northwest Market Association (NMA) markets, showcasing footwear, apparel, accessories and childrens wear, provide a one-stop shopping experience for over 380 Pacific Northwest retailers in the comfortable and attractive setting of the Embassy Suites in Portland, Oregon.  Sales representatives also enjoy the convenience of working with new and existing customers without the added expense of traveling on the road.  The Embassy Suites’ amenities of a complimentary buffet breakfast and evening cocktails with snacks offer the opportunity to socialize with buyers and other reps in a more casual setting.

Showroom suites.  Suites offer the advantage of a display area in the living room and a separate bedroom for sleeping.  Reps are able to meet privately with buyers in a relaxed setting.  Show fee is $115 plus the cost of your room. Standard suites are $129.00 for the 2012 shows.


Booth SpaceBooths are located in the ballroom areas of the hotel and may be exposed to more traffic.  The cost is $225.00 for 10x10 square feet of exhibit space.  

There is a lengthy waiting list for booth space. No booth applications are currently being accepted. However, please be aware that 200 of the 245 exhibitors at the event show in the suites.

Two-Day Show Option.  Some exhibitors prefer to show only Saturday and Sunday of the three-day show, checking out Monday morning.  These reps will be assigned rooms on a separate floor so not to disturb other exhibitors during move-out.  Show fees remain the same, but the exhibitor pays for one less room night. Most two-day exhibitors are shoe reps; apparel and accessory reps generally show all three days.


Transportation Information.  For those reps flying into the Portland airport, Portland enjoys an excellent light rail system.  Simply board the MAX train for Beaverton (cost is approximately $4.00) and the Embassy Suites’ van will pick you up for free at the Beaverton transit station.  (Be sure to have their telephone number with you -- 503-644-4000.)  California reps needing assistance transporting their goods may contact Fashion Show Transport, which brings items for a number of NMA exhibitors.  Contact Kathy Walker at: 800-552-4623 or email:
