All retailers are encouraged and welcome to attend the Northwest Marketing Association (NMA) market. Attendance for retailers is free. We ask that you register prior to coming to the show so that we are able to create identification badges for you in advance, as well as do other logistics planning. In the event you are unable to pre-register, you are still able to attend the market by bringing a business card; however, please allow additional time for on-site registration.
The NMA market continues to enjoy a fine reputation for over 40 years as being a one-stop shopping experience for retailers and buyers in the Pacific Northwest. Over 950 product lines of footwear, apparel and accessories are represented by over 240 sales representatives at each market. More than 300 retail stores attend each market, with the Fall 2009 show drawing 340 retail stores. Retailers enjoy meeting with representatives at the market in an atmosphere where the retailer can devote all of their attention to buying without having to multi-task with interruptions at their stores and offices. The market is held at the Embassy Suites Portland/Washington Square www.portlandwashingtonsquare.embassysuites.com in Tigard, Oregon, less than 15 minutes from downtown Portland and 30 minutes from the Portland Airport. With 354 suites, this hotel is the fourth largest hotel in Oregon. The hotel is about halfway between northern California and southwest British Columbia. Retailers come to the market from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and northern California.
