Reading through the Bloomin’ Boutique newsletter and seeing the wonderful community support for those in need is truly heartening, especially as I try to maintain a sense of balance while navigating the intensive rigors of my current PhD research. Balancing my doctoral studies with a part-time job at Last Minute Assignment has given me a front-row seat to the modern student experience, where the desire to give back to the community often clashes with the reality of crushing academic deadlines and complex technical requirements. Having suffered through many high-stress hustles and sleepless nights during my own college days, I am now incredibly conscious of the mental toll an unmanaged workload can take on one’s stability. The reflection article was calm and thoughtful because it shares personal observations in a simple way. I once spent time journaling and felt more focused afterward. I also came across do my Biology exam while browsing study discussions online. It made me think reflection helps growth.
